Yoga Travels in India

Come to India with Yogalounge!

“You don't travel to India to visit monuments, museums, temples and monasteries.
One does not travel to India to cross outside worlds. Not only.
We travel to India to discover the interior worlds, in the swamps of the spirit, in the labyrinths without a compass that we carry inside.
You are traveling to India to take an inward journey.
A trip that you cannot see with your eyes, but that you feel with your stomach and heart.
Because India cannot be seen: India can be heard.”

Varanasi lets you step into spirituality and discover the true culture of India.

Kashi (Varanasi) is the city of Lord Shiva, it is said to be in the trishul 🔱 of Lord Shiva.

Who controls this city is Kaal Bhairav, the fiercest representation of Lord Shiva. Kaal Bhairav is also called the Kotwal (Sheriff) of Varanasi. If he says that no one can stay in Varanasi without his permission, then we will ask for his permission.

In Varanasi there are 64 Bhairavs with their respective temples. We will visit the 8 main ones that govern all directions in the city.

And then... if there's one thing that will take your breath away, it's the Varanasi sunrise. The sun reflecting off the Ganges and illuminating the Ghats is a unique sight.

Every day we will practice Yoga at dawn on the bank of the Ganges, and we will dance Bharatanatyam, one of the sacred Indian dances.

We will admire the sunrise and the awakening of the city between rituals, ablutions, prayers and mantras. We will see up close how this city salutes the sun and celebrates Maa Ganga every day.

We will get lost in the alleys of Varanasi which are a labyrinth and hide incredible beauty... sites in Varanasi, including the great crematorium at Manikarnika, others more unknown but no less fascinating.

Yoga Retreats in India

With a great mix of ancient heritage, over 40,000 Hindu temples and natural beauty, Tamil Nadu has regained its place as one of the most visited destinations in India.

This tour will not only take us to discover Tamil culture and traditions, but it will also be a real journey of inner discovery.

There are very powerful places in India that allow us to enter a different state of consciousness without any effort.

Lord Shiva, also known as Mahadev ("the Great God") is worshiped in the form of Shivalinga.

Lingams are the symbolic representation of Lord Shiva, the immortal soul of our inner self.

Shiva is believed to bless all his devotees with salvation. The most unique and divine representation of Shiva are the 12 Jyotirlinga.

The jyotirlinga seem to have originated on their own, they are said to be the places where Lord Shiva manifested as a pillar of light.

Technically, the Jyotirlinga are powerful high-energy centers, so potent that they not only fulfill desires but can also bring fulfillment to our lives.

Jyotirlinga is the symbol of the unlimited form of Shiva, the greatness that attracts devotees from time unknown.

Regardless of religious beliefs, it is scientifically proven that certain yantras in some of these places allow our lives to be fulfilled quickly.

The tour we offer touches many of these places, and each one has a different impact on us.

These fascinating temples are all located in southern India, four in Tamil Nadu and one in Andhra Pradesh:
